This grant is to assist counties in the delivery of public health services by providing funds for a public health nurse and/or a sanitarian. The Direct Grant is awarded to selected counties upon submission of the required signature pages.

Per Capita Reimbursement Grant:

This grant assists county health departments in promoting and protecting the health of their residents by providing per capita matching funds for special services, such as programs relating to communicable disease control, maternal and child health, environmental health, and health education. The Per Capita Reimbursement Grant is awarded to selected county health departments upon submission and approval of the required grant application.
